How do I renew my Sketch license?
You can renew your license for another year on our store. We offer exclusive discounts for returning customers so you can renew your license, at any time, for less.
You’ll need your license key to complete the renewal process. If you don’t have your license key you can find it in the License Manager.
If you need to renew a volume license (or multiple licenses), you could move to a Teams subscription, which comes with additional benefits, including:
- A shared team workspace on Cloud
- Free access for unlimited viewers (to view designs in the browser and use Cloud Inspector for handoff)
- Easy team management with monthly or annual billing.
What happens if I don’t renew my license?
If you don’t want to renew your license after it expires, you can continue to use the version of Sketch that you have, for as long as you want, but you won’t be able to receive any further updates. You will no longer be able to upload new documents to Cloud, but you can still sign in to:
- View documents in your personal workspace
- Share your documents with others
- Comment on documents
- Download documents
- Use developer handoff
Any documents you previously uploaded will stay on Cloud until you choose to remove them. If you decide you want to renew at a later date, that’s fine — you’re welcome back at any time.
Renewing your license gets you another year’s worth of updates as well as continued access to Cloud.
Updating macOS
If you’ve just renewed your license but you’re running an older version of Apple’s operating system, you’ll need to update your macOS to install the latest version of Sketch.
Manage your License
Manage or recover legacy (SK3) license keys, add or remove devices, and access invoices.
