Why was my credit card declined?

There could be a number of reasons why your credit card was declined. These include:

  • An incorrect credit card number, expiration date or billing address.
  • A hold on your credit card (this can happen when a credit card company detects a transaction that they don’t believe to be a normal purchase and believe it is a fraudulent charge).
  • A restriction on your credit card (for example, you may not be able to use your credit card outside of a specific country).
  • Insufficient funds.

As a first step, please try to enter your credit card information one more time. If your credit card is is declined again, you will need to contact your credit card company.

For further information on this, please take a look at this FAQ from our e-commerce partner, FastSpring. From there, you can also choose the orange “Contact Support” option and complete the form that appears to ask any additional questions.

Be sure to include your full name, email address, a brief description of your request and attach any supporting documents.
